I'm doing the second thread, Getting Something for a Friend, in two parts because we did about half of it and then started on thread 3, then came back to it, so I'm doing this for continuity. |

Jacob and Misery (aka. Christopher Marican) were a set of Death Eaters. At first, Misery doesn't believe in love, but Jacob makes him see that love does indeed exist and is something he can't live without. (Oh my God, that sounded like a blurb for a bad romance novel. Oh well!) Jacob starts out tentative and submissive, but eventually he grows confidence in his relationship with Misery -- well, he's always lacked confidence, from his first go with Sirius Black years ago to the present day. Misery, in turn, grows to accept the idea of love, and softens just a bit. Jacob Chambers can have that effect on a man. I have to start with Jacob and Misery now because their timelines intertwine with Laura and Aminian's timelines.

This is the thread that marked the beginning of the crossing of Laura/Aminian and Misery/Jacob. This includes some dastardly planning, but the following thread, No Idea, includes rape. Graham, a good friend of Laura's, is also played by me. I posted to myself an awful lot in this thread and the next.

NC-17 This is the thread that includes rape (Laura is raped by Jacob). Forgive me the mary-sue quality of the wandless magic, but then again that may be a true-to-life sort of reaction to rape for wizards and witches.

PG-13 This marks the introduction of Jacob Chambers' older brother, Elias, who just happens to be the Ancient Runes professor at Hogwarts, and Laura's teacher, and an old friend of her mother's on top of that. He comes off as a bit creepy here. I'm sorry.

PG-13 Two threads spawned from the thread Curious in which Elias Chambers got Laura to talk about what happened to her. This is Elias's retaliation against his brother. The next is Elias checking up on Christopher (aka. Misery) to see if he is indeed dating his brother. Also, this is the best thread name I've ever come up with.
