The Only Regret
NC-17 Arthur and Severus have fun over the kitchen table at the Burrow.
The Only Regret
"Would you like to be my best man?"
"We've been over this, I thought," said Severus.
"I know," said Arthur, "I just thought it would be nice to make sure you hadn't changed your mind. Gideon, Molly's brother, is set to do it if you don't want to. I completely understand that you wouldn't want to. I don't think I could show up at your wedding at all."
"Good thing you'll never have to, then," said Severus with a snort.
"Oh, I'm sure someone would marry you. If only for the way you groan."
"I don't . . . oh," said Severus, relaxing almost instantly, letting Arthur hold him as he began to suck and nibble at his pale earlobe.
The old table was splintery, he knew, really, but whenever Arthur began to nibble on his ear, he stopped thinking clearly. It wasn't until he was actually on top of the table that he felt his folly. But, oh, the slight pain of the splinters, and the secret joy of being able to, for a moment, carry a part of the Burrow in him, something owned by Arthur, as he was owned by Arthur, and if the table was imperfect, wasn't him calling it out for that the bludger calling the quaffle black?
Arthur was amazing as always, standing over him so intense, so flushed, so passionate. Arthur spilled himself with a shout, grinning softly down at him as he instructed him to stroke himself off.
Severus groaned at this and thrust his hips softly as he pumped himself quickly, roughly. When he finally shuddered to climax and Arthur helped him up off the table, Arthur tutted, looking at the damage. "Oh, I'm sorry," he said. "I didn't realize."
He gently ran his wand over Severus's back, causing an involuntary shiver in the man as he made sure the Summoning Charm had worked to get all of the splinters out. "Say something next time, won't you, dear?" he said, leaning down to press a kiss at the small of Severus's back.
"How about you refrain from seducing me in your kitchen, love," Severus shot back, but it had little bite to it.
"I love Molly's cooking, but I will say you're the tastiest thing to ever be served up on that table."
Severus rolled his eyes. "Well, I'll admit something to you, Arthur. I do have one regret in being in this relationship." He wrapped an arm around Arthur and pulled him close.
"A regret? What is it?"
"I regret that you're utterly irresistible."
Arthur chuckled. "Well, to your credit, no one on the outside looking in would be able to tell."
"Yes, well, there are times where I'm glad the rest of the world is full of dunderheads. You have my blessing for your marriage."
He pecked him on the lips. "Not much will change."
"I don't regret that at all," said Severus, still naked, burying his nose in the fabric of the shirt covering Arthur's chest, breathing deeply.
"Best get your clothes on," said Arthur.
"You're right," said Severus, dressing a bit reluctantly. He almost felt like he wanted Molly to see what her husband got up to. Then again, that wasn't fair to Arthur at all—Arthur who would always love him, his Severus, and her, his Molly, too. If anyone had a heart big enough it was Arthur.
"My only regret's the fact that people are required by law to wear clothes." He gave Severus a swat on his nicely-shagged arse.
Severus rolled his eyes again.
