PG Severus visits Arthur in Mungo's.

Broken Promise

                Severus hated Mungo's. It smelled like death and chaos, and also of the unknown, was white inside, as if to feebly attempt to purify itself of its own putridity, and sounded like anguish and bickering and unwritten laws he did not understand. Most of all, he hated that it contained people in peril, people that someone else worried over. He paused, breathing deeply so as to brace himself for a moment, then opening the door.

                Arthur looked near-dead, eyes sunken, face pale. "Severus," he said hoarsely.

                "Arthur," Severus said tightly, and silently vowed Nagini would not get away with it.
