Hazards of Rain
G Art and drabble inspired by the streets in the rain.

Hazards of Rain

A thousand make-shift mirrors glint, lined up on the ground, white lines of perforation separating them momentarily. Lights zigzag along the water in colorful patterns. Go. Slow. Stop. Each cars' taillights glow red on the ground behind them, trailing them, making them appear to be selected cars in a videogame, to be moved around by some greater entity. Drive, cars, don't forget to press A. Press Start to pause. There is no power button, however. Only the race will tell who moves on and who doesn't. Will you? The reflections are beautiful. The accident, however, is not. Hazardous, but beautiful.
