                Kim's heart broke after she had to leave Edward up there all alone again.

                It took her ten years to love again.

                And the gossip grated on her more than ever. She moved away for years, only moving back for job purposes, which was when she met Frank.

                But the gossip wasn't the only problem with the town, at least in the years until she married and had children.

                Never could she be pulled into the falsity and empty pizzazz of suburban life. All the colors of the world around her paled when she thought of Edward's spirit, became subfusc.

I watched "Sweeney Todd" and "Edward Scissorhands" both tonight, the latter for the first time (odd, huh, that I watched 2 movies starring a Johnny Depp who wore black and white and cut people). It was an amazing representation of the way a society can get too shallow and self-centered and in its uncaring "create a monster". I had a good cry over "Edward Scissorhands", and like a good little fandom whore I went right into searching for NC-17 fics of Edward.

Someone had the most incredible idea for a crossover pairing -- Edward/Wolverine. How awesome is that? Claws.

Here's anothe crossover, rather awkward if you think about it. Jack Sparrow/Edward. Is it like Depp!masturbation, technically? Blades and Rum. I don't think I'll actually read it, becaue it's terribly long (23 or 24 chapters). Maybe over the summer.

Edwards Soul Mate Found at Last. Great premise -- it's Kim's great-grandson and Edward. A little awkward, and pretty dub-con.

Again, with the Johnny on Johnny action. Real person slash with Johnny and Edward. Edward. Awkward, but worth the read when you get to the line “I don’t know what it is,” Edward whispered. “I don’t know how it got there. What is it, Johnny?” He's talking about his erection. That's just win. Edward's hands get fixed in this. One more great line amidst the awkwardness of most of the 4 chapters: Johnny left, and Edward sat down on the bed. It wasn’t as hard as the Professor’s bed, and not as squishy as Kim’s. Edward cautiously poked the bed, and was relieved when it didn’t squirt out water.
