PG-13 Murderface and Pickles have a behind-the-scenes relationship that fascinates me. "Pickles can't bake. Murderface chews, tasting, getting a feel for the cookie. Pickles rubs at Murderface's shoulders from behind the chair. "Dear god, Picklesch. I thought you said you could bake." "Whet? Whet's that supposed to mean? I can bake!" "You ckan't." "Uh huh! Yee-uh, I can. Whet's wrong wit' 'em?" "You forgot sohmething." "Oh yee-uh, Mr. Food Critic? Whet'd I ferget?" "Flavor." Pickles stops his back rub entirely, hands lingering at the sides of Murderface's thick neck. "Thisch is culinary schit." It takes a lot to decide not to strangle Murderface right there.

Summary: Severus Snape isn't the wizarding world's most welcoming person. When he joins the staff at Hogwarts, things quickly take a turn for the worst. It takes a little strategy and a little luck, but they put Professor Snape in his place, and a relationship forms. Author's/Artist's Notes: When I reread your likes, I realized Severus would be good to do, and decided I'd pair him with a woman from your list I love him paired with. I've never tried these two together before, and I hope I did them justice. I tried not to leave any of your favorite staff members out. Also, I gave Minerva the keys instead of the chess pieces for protecting the stone. In my opinion, the chess pieces had an Engorgement Charm (Flitwick's department), and the keys were clearly transfigured. It's the only way that makes sense, and if that isn't the way J.K.R. intended it, I guess that makes this a very slight Alternate Reality.

PG-13 Static Shock fic. Fade/Tech. Fade and Tech are based on characters in Blood Syndicate, and in Blood Syndicate, the Fade character was in love with the Tech character. I made up names for the three unnamed members of the Static Shock Nightbreed, Fade, Tech, and Brickhouse. I gave Fade and Tech the names Frankie and Elmer respectively.
