A little about Malcolm in the Middle, if you've never seen it:
The family is Hal the dad, who is emotional and quite excitable, Lois the mom who can be a seriously dictatorial household ruler, and 4 (or, later, 5) kids. There's Francis who works on a dude ranch with his wife named Piama who he met in Alaska when he was up there to escape from military school. Then there's Reese who's pretty much an idiot. He's hilarious, though. Then there's Malcolm, the "smart one". He's conceited, and the main character. My favorite kid is Dewey, the youngest until they have a new baby. Dewey is a creative genius and he's very delusional. If I can find a good example, I'll show you what I mean.

A Step Too Far by Verbeden. Snape/Draco

I watched "Sweeney Todd" and "Edward Scissorhands" both tonight, the latter for the first time (odd, huh, that I watched 2 movies starring a Johnny Depp who wore black and white and cut people). It was an amazing representation of the way a society can get too shallow and self-centered and in its uncaring "create a monster". I had a good cry over "Edward Scissorhands", and like a good little fandom whore I went right into searching for NC-17 fics of Edward.

Someone had the most incredible idea for a crossover pairing -- Edward/Wolverine. How awesome is that? Claws.

Here's anothe crossover, rather awkward if you think about it. Jack Sparrow/Edward. Is it like Depp!masturbation, technically? Blades and Rum. I don't think I'll actually read it, becaue it's terribly long (23 or 24 chapters). Maybe over the summer.

Edwards Soul Mate Found at Last. Great premise -- it's Kim's great-grandson and Edward. A little awkward, and pretty dub-con.

Again, with the Johnny on Johnny action. Real person slash with Johnny and Edward. Edward. Awkward, but worth the read when you get to the line “I don’t know what it is,” Edward whispered. “I don’t know how it got there. What is it, Johnny?” He's talking about his erection. That's just win. Edward's hands get fixed in this. One more great line amidst the awkwardness of most of the 4 chapters: Johnny left, and Edward sat down on the bed. It wasn’t as hard as the Professor’s bed, and not as squishy as Kim’s. Edward cautiously poked the bed, and was relieved when it didn’t squirt out water.

A little bit about them: They're lesbians, I think, but that's not that important. They have a really old-school style that I just love, and their harmony is incredible. Especially on, like, "Walk or Ride".

In fact, all of the songs from this movie were incredible. I might as well rec them all!

"On the Open Road", "Nobody Else but You", "Stand Out" along with some great assorted clips afterward and also "Eye to Eye" is near the end, and these aren't songs, but they're some great scenes (bad quality, but still), one of my favorite lines, a really dark arrangement of clips.
